At Lake Myakka State Park.
We thought we had seen the last of these guys for this season and then...Voila!
It's a great park and we're getting Limpkins AND Spoonbills. What more could we ask for?

A wonderful series of a very photogenic bird. i especially like the picture of the landing bird (my wife just distracted me so I lost count!) and the two "one legged" birds. I also like the DOF which I have often seen missing in bird photos.

Excellent & very sharp, Chief! Have you considered removing the foreground bird in #3 and using a vertical crop?

Thank you, Quixdraw. I don't know How/Can't/Don't have the software to do things like that. I tried to crop it but couldn't without losing the Spoonbills legs. I dislike verticals but I can see how this one would work as a vertical. Actually kinda like it as is, but it would have looked better with more DOF.
