Came as a set or purchase separately. Somewhere in my pen collection I have a Parker 21 fountain pen and my wife bought me a Parker 51 sterling silver fountain pen. I used only green ink it it. Do you remember who else used only green ink?

They came as a set.

As far as I know you can still buy them down here.

I have 3 Jotter ball points though.

I bought the first one in 2005... I cant remember if it was the "set"
or if the 2005 pen was bought alone.
All three have had French fine point refills which work great.

I misplaced the pens a couple of times and bought replacements,
only to find all the missing pens later... winding up with a constellation
of 4 units... including the mechanical pencil in the photo.

Mine, also. I have had one or another since high school and that goes back to the late 1950s. When in HS, one of my dumbass classmates thought it would be a good idea to get hold of the pen and throw it around the room to his sh*thead buddies. They finally broke it. It had a plastic barrel. The one I have now is the stainless steel model, like the one in the photo.
BTW, I have never been to any of my HS reunions.

I think it has to do with the ball being made of titanium.

That would be a good reason...
Never knew/thought of that.

In the 1990's we owned an office products store and had a small inner shop called The Pen Place. Parker was my favorite line. We also sold Pelikan, Waterman, Shaeffer, Rotring, Cross and also had Mont Blanc for the ignorant lawyers and snobs.

Wow, thanks for the memories. I had a set, but used my Parker 21 fountain pen most of the time. It carried me through my college days.

I still use a dark blue one from 20 years ago! No other pen can match it!

Dredging up a very old memory, the T ball jotter refers to the ball in the ball pen ink cartridge. It was textured so it would (presumably) do a better job of getting ink on the paper. Less chance of skipping.

I used ones like these for decades. A truly great set although they were a bit difficult to hold on to.

I remember the pens being called "T-Ball Jotters". I still have a few that work!

I don't use pens like this anymore - they are slippery and hard to hold on a hot humid day. I go for the ones with rubber-like grips.

Same with Commonwealth Bank of Australia auditors up until at least the mid-70's. Not sure of procedures in these modern times.
