The top four special places you want to shoot at, or shoot at again.
I love visiting and photographing, the Basha Kill, in NY. It is state protected wilderness in Sullivan County.
I’ve done lots of traveling: Galapagos, Africa, China, Japan, Europe, Iceland, most NP in USA plus dozens more.
Loved them all....but when I feel comfortable getting on a plane again I want to go someplace new!
Antartica, Patagonia, US Southwest, Alaska
There are many more that are far more than worthwhile!
1. The Coliseum in Rome (return)
2. Yosemite (return)
3. A desert in bloom (any)
4. San Gimignano in Siena, Tuscany (return)

For many of us, we sometimes only get so many opportunities for one reason or another (sometimes our health or money), to go to special places to photograph. Where would you want to return to shoot or want to go for the first time? I know it will be hard for some to choose, but it may give others some ideas since they are important to you.
Mine, in no special order:
1. Grand Caynon (return) An unbelieveable place. I would seriously live there.
2. Canadian Rockies (return) Been once but did not have enough time to explore. Never seen so many stars at night.
3. Italy (Desire)
4. Japanese Gardens (Desire)

1. Ireland (return) but northern part plus Scotland next time.
2. Japan
3. Iceland
4. Colorado and other western states
My current favorites;
Domestically the national parks and especially Zion and Bryce in Utah, Yellowstone and Yosemite.
Internationally almost anywhere but of among the ones I have personally visited: Siem Reap Cambodia, Ha Long Bay Vietnam, Laung Prabang Laos, the Galopagos, Bagan Myanmar and anywhere in Thailand, Iceland or Bali!!!

If you go back to the Grand canyon, go to the North Rim this time. I found it even more spectacular than the more-visited South Rim.
In early spring hike down from south rim, camp at bottom and hike up to north rim which can be deep in snow. Also waterfalls 1-2 feet wide cascading hundreds of feet. Sadly slides have become mildewed due to my neglect in Florida. And I took a number of infrared 4x5s , but left the holders in the truck and the heat exposed them to total black, DUH what was I thinking?

1. North Cascades of WA state in late spring. Been there several times. Water, water, everywhere.
2. Patagonia. Haven't been there yet. Looks spectacular in photos I've seen.
3. Denali. Haven't been there yet. From others who seen it ...'most awesome mountain I've ever seen....hard to grasp the size'.
4. Theodore Roosevelt NP in North Dakota. Been there. Love the wide open vistas.
