Since March 3 I have had visits from and got pictures of 6 types that except for one on one day in early Jan I haven't gotten pictures of since Thanksgiving. I have 6 others I haven't seen in months and 1 that I saw for a few seconds but no picture.
The ones I have pictures of:
Mar 3 Band Tailed Pigeons a male and female pair, the male has a tuft of feathers sticking up off its back - why? - don't know; snag on a thorn, near miss from a hawk, but most likely a mating fight with another male pigeon.
On the 4th I got pictures of a Dark Eyed Junco (a first in my yard) and a Yellow Rump Warbler (had one for a few minutes Jan 8th before that not since Fall. I put those up a few days ago.
Mar 7th small Lesser Goldfinch flock and a single California Towhee
Mar 8 California Scrub Jay
Band Tailed Pigeon in rain watching over his mate on the ground.

CA Towhee are hard to get clear shots of since they are usually in the grass.

CA Scrub Jay inspecting the in-shell peanuts before making a pick and taking it.

You are welcome. They are all Western birds or western sub-species. The Junco is a first time ever for me and it is one with coloring usually only seen in Oregon and the areas around it.

Thank you. They are all* either West Coast or Western-Mexican-Central American birds including the two in my other post
https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-688117-1.htmlI have seen the Junco in the yard again twice this week and I have seen a Black Phoebe twice but no pictures, gone before I got to the camera.
*Exception is the Yellow Rumped Warbler which is everywhere from Canada to Mexico and Central America at one time of year or another.

Robert, awesome set and you really push me to get outside in one of my blinds to capture a few.

Thanks a lot, get out and do it.
The Junco is back and I got more pictures. Only the light was poor, it was in the shade and with the cropping for this rather small bird the image tend to fall apart a bit even with Denoise AI.
I also got shots of an immature Black Phoebe but not any of the adults I have seen. They come by and land where they can check my pool for floating bugs and then either scoop them up or leave if they don't see any. The young one hung around and even sat on the fence for a while where both my pool and the pool on the other side of the block is visible.
