I have a canon 60d just wandering if i have the right lens or I mymissing something so here is my toys... lol... canon 50mm,sgma 10-20,canon 18-200 and canon 70-300

That is a reasonable assortment. the 18-200 would be a good walk around lens. You might like the 85mm prime for portraits. My favorite lens is my 100mm macro.

My favorite lens is the Canon 15-85mm IS USM. It is very sharp, low flare, low CA, but does vignette at 15mm. It's a great walk-around lens, and the vignette is pretty easily removed in post. You have those focal lengths covered, but if you want to step up a bit in image quality I recommend it. But, I have been known to indulge in deficit spending on photo gear!

You've got the basics covered...I too have a 60D. When you can afford it try a 70-200 2.8!

You have a good range of lenses.
But for insects a 100mm macro is great and it doubles as a good portrait lens as well.

I have the canon 17-85 for my everyday walk around lens and a canon 70-300. Intend to get the canon 100 macro in the very near future and I believe that to be what you are missing (a true macro lens).

I have several good Canon lenses for my 60D, including a 70-200 and 10-22, but the one I use 95% of the time is the 17-55 IS f2.8. High build quality, very sharp, good all around lens.

There's an 8mm fisheye as well, I think mine's a Sigma. Either one would be a good choice to round out your lens depot. I need to work with mine more. Extreme close-ups: from here to eternity.

With my 60d I have the Sigma 10-20mm, Canon 50mm and the Canon 100mm L macro..Not too bothered with longer reach..

I got rid of all my kit glass when I bought my Tamron 18-270mm walk-around lens. I kept the 50mm, but I haven't used it for a long time. Your assortment is great, like everyone else on the forum, I think you may want to invest in a good macro. Tamron makes a good macro, 90mm macro lens. But, they have redesigned the 90mm macro to include vibration compensation. It will hit the market sometime in November or early December. I think the pricing will be between the Canon 100mm L lens, and the current Tamron 90mm, or about $750. I am waiting for this lens to appear on the market so I can evaluate it, and possibly add it to my sparse collection. The V.C. factor will help with hand held shots, and close ups of bugs and flowers. I will also help with portraites. Tamron makes good glass, and is priced better than Canon L lenses. Just don't shoot from a tripod, with the V.C. switch "on"

If macro is worth the price of a new lens, suggest researching the Tamron 90 macro. Seems to have great reviews
