Nice images. Reminds of when I worked at 332 S. Michigan ave long time ago.
Thanks for the info and the pictures. Well done. The statue of Grant is terrific.

Good series and article Paul. I thought you had more snow up there. Thanks for sharing.
The usual good work we've come to know from you. You've captured the scenes as well as the mood and chill.

Thank you Frank! I can't do a 74-image 'dump', so trust me the snow is deep even on Saturday morning after the Tuesday 14- to 18-inch event.
The amounts varies more than typical. O'Hare, the city's official reading, was 8-inches while all the measuring points directly along the lake were 12-inches up to 18-inches in Evanston.

Thank you Allan! I planned to be to the statue about 20-minutes earlier in terms of the sunrise and the predawn colors. I didn't account enough for how earlier the sun is now raising as compared to just a month ago.
Thank you Paul, Allan, Frank, Bob! Hopefully, this week I'll receive back the processing and scanning for film rolls dating back to November 2020. I shot 2 rolls on the morning after we added 14-inches overnight to the already 20+ inches we had on the ground. And that was on the walk to the post office to send to California for processing. Here is the start of a digital trip for 4+ hours.
Paul, great series and hats off to you for being up and out with a camera at that time and temperature!
A nice set, Paul. It got down to 12 degrees here in La. but I didn't go out for a walk.
Thank you tradio, Ben, Ken! We average 36-inches of snow the entire winter in Chicago. We received that much in February, on top of what was already an average winter. There's more from this tour coming as I moved south along the lake shore. Glad you enjoyed.
Beautiful set, Paul. Love the silhouetted Grant memorial.
