The delivery person can take a picture on your porch and still walk off with the package. Proves nothing.
And fireballs can fall from space and destroy the planet, that's if you want to play a game of "what if".
Since we are playing "what if", the delivery person would be better off delivering to a 'wrong address' and then taking a package rather than delivering it to the correct address and stealing it. But again, "what if" is probably not as smart as the common thief.

A simple observation is that the package was delivered and a picture was taken. There would be room for a possible debate if the picture was not taken (Schrödinger's cat).

I received an item from Amazon yesterday. In the email notice letting me know the item was deliver they included a picture showing the package on my front porch. Anybody else get such a notice?
Most of the time my packages come and I get a picture.
Amazon has the drivers in some areas do that so that the customer can't claim it was not delivered since amazon has proof that it was even if it is not the right place.
Yes, the last time amazon delivered a package. It was a good thing they included the photo because I had to go looking for the package.

I am in the UK and had this type of delivery several times from both amazon and other delivery companies. Seems to be the new way.
