You postulate so much. You prove so little. A great many of your posts these days sound panicked. I really don't get it. "The sky is falling" may not accurately describe where you are at, but it seems to fit better than anything else I can think of.

So smart one, just what did I say is unprovable, the distinction of the Senate is the filibuster, under most Senates it requires a bipartisan effort to get legislation passed, now do you not see a distinction that would be done away with between the Senate and the House were the filibuster removed from the Senate rules?

Until quite recently it wasn't as simple as saying you were going to filibuster. You had to actually do it. Hence "bring out the cots". If it isn't worth the effort of reciting Dr. Seuss, maybe it isn't really that important. You guys have Mike Lindell, so it shouldn't even be that inconvenient for you.

You are delusional if you believe that.

Some of the Trump supporters have—after the election loss, the failure of Trump to prevail with the lie about election fraud, and then the failed attempt to disrupt the Congressional certification—adopted positions that make little sense, and if not for their defensive position, would not articulate.
Have you heard some of the asinine reasons the Republican Senators have offered for not convicting Trump? They sound like whiny children.

Asinine as in unconstitutional? That asinine?

He has opened a commission to study packing the court, how do you think that will go? A bill has been introduced in the Senate to make DC a state, will they not need a liberal SCOTUS for that to stand up to a constitutional challenge? Then you have the EO's many of which will be challenged in court, will he not need to pack the court to fully implement his agenda?

Democrats are dirty not to mention authoritarian in nature, they have a short window until the 2022 elections to exact this unchallenged power, if they are successful in killing the filibuster there will be nothing standing in their way and they will make change in this country that will justify the security needs they seem to imagine that they currently need in our country's capital.

Of course democrats are dirty too. We don’t need more seats on SCOTUS and the only reason they want to do away with the fillibuster is so they can push through anything they want.

None of this is for the good of the country but for their party’s power. Large quantities of pasty white kool aid is being consumed.

Interesting speculation. Time will tell.

As I see it right now, the EOs being instigated are simply political and aimed at undoing Pres. Trump's 4 years in office. They don't necessarily use logic as a foundation.

Where were you while Dump was undoing Obama’s 8 years?

Oh, maybe because he is out of office, or maybe because his words spoke of a peaceful march to voice their dissent, or maybe because it is of questionable constitutionality to impeach someone not holding office? Maybe because several democrats in national prominence have made aggressively more violent calls to action, ie Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi to name a few.... Maybe because the FBI has evidence that the breech was planned long before the rally? Maybe because the democrats have a history questioning the legitimacy of the elections of both Bush and Trump?

You are not a smart man.

Really, have you not paid attention to what they are doing in DC? When they destroy all these jobs, when they cap our oil wells as Kerry has suggested, who is going to create all these jobs, and how is it that they will all be good paying union jobs, does this mean that the government itself will be taking over the energy sector? Huh comrade?

"Democrats" are authoritarian? Really? Do you mean like "Support me on everything I do or I will ruin your career"? That kind of authoritarian?

And of course, one would expect people like you to complain about doing away with the filibuster.... after all, up until recently, your type supported Moscow Mitch, the biggest obstructionist east of the Mississippi.

definition: an action such as a prolonged speech that obstructs progress in a legislative assembly while not technically contravening the required procedures.

Doesn't a filibuster contribute to WHY things don't get done in Washington?
Just what is wrong with making DC a state? br br ... (show quote)

DC is barely a city. If DC becomes a state, then why not Dallas or Boston or NYC or LA become states too? I once drove by Lost Springs, WY population 7. Let's make that a state too!

Actually the filibuster more or less forces compromise, which is actually both parties working together. That or they drop it entirely which evidently means it wasn't worth pursuing.

Nah, it's because of the violent vigilantes prancing around with guns and in patriot camo. What's wrong with your cognitive fireboy?
