As nutty as liberals can be here, none of them are burning local stores or car dealerships to the ground.

Could you supply some examples of the nutty behavior of liberals in your area?

Your mind reading skills are uncanny.

When democrats utter a call to violence we should just ignore it and chalk it up to harmless rhetoric regardless of any outcomes.

But when republicans champion "fighting for freedom" its a clarion call to genocidal violence?

Yes, you sound that ridiculous!

These politicians always claim that they are fighting for their constituents. They don't fight. When is the last time you heard of 2 senators literally duking it out? They barely argue. "I object" does not count as "fighting".

But when democratic senators and representatives telling people at rallies, news conferences, etc. to "follow them into stores", "get up in their faces", etc. that's really them just showing their love?

I read his speech. Telling people to fight for freedom is what every politician in the last 50 years says when they want your support. But he never said "bust in", "get in their faces" etc., etc. Those folks acted on their own. It was evidently a planned event for some of the instigators. Those people should be held accountable.

As far as your comment about rhetoric, you don't have a leg to stand on besides the tired argument of "but, but Trump".

Sure...they removed the statue of Lincoln a few weeks back. It's a copy of one they have in D.C.. It was commissioned and paid for by former slaves and donated to the city of Boston. But none of that mattered because people were too ignorant to understand that Lincoln was gesturing for them to rise ( which is how the slaves that paid for it saw it).

Today's cancel culture got rid of Lincoln. We also have statues of Washington and Paul Revere. Just a question of time before they're gone too. Someone somewhere will find them offensive.

I am well grounded.

You know, unlike the lefty loons.

I am digging the setup for Biden's Inauguration. 25,000 National Guard in attendance even if their guns scare the Dems witless. All they will need is a few dozen tanks and missile carriers and it'll look just like a Russian celebration of a Gorbachev win!

Who knew? Blue is the new Red.

Go freedom!

Face reality, you are looking down the barrel of Trump's American carnage ... and it only took four years.

The optics of the statue are too patronizing for free men in 2021.

It's a worry in the UK as well. So sad.

The "optics" should be a testament to how far we've come. Now the only time you find people on their knees is for the national anthem. They say it's in protest. I say it looks like you're "bending the knee" to the flag of the United States of America and all it represents. It's all in your perspective (a not so subtle nod to the photography forum).

Denying history does not free us.

No one will forget the last four years very quickly. Do you see any monuments in Trump's honor on the horizon?

Ever?

I heard that trump had Rudy Giuliana hanging from a sling at Mount Rushmore with a hammer and chisel.

Did you notice how the Trumpets attempted a violent overthrow of the government on January 6th, or were you right there with them, destroying our government?

Libs - 200-300 riots

Cons - 1 riot

Yeah, you really score well here...

The people who did this are not typical. They are the extreme and their number is few. I fought them for all the years I was teaching in a liberal arts college.
