Took 8 year old grandson there many years ago. About 11/2 mile hike to Ceremonial Cave. Over 100 steps up ladder made from tree limbs to top.
Told him Pop’s knees could not go up there. Wife went around corner to a bench to rest.
Boy looked so longingly up to cave.
As a group came down ladder he said in front of one of the men, “Pop that man went up there and he’s older than you!”
It wasn’t that hard a climb.

I got to go up to Bandelier National Monument today. Thought you might enjoy a few pictures.
These were taken with a Canon EOS 7D and a Tamron 16-300 lens.
I realize the Tamron 16-300 is not the best lens but it is great to cover almost any scene I might want.
Any comments on exposure or composition will be appreciated.
They were taken in Raw and processed in Affinity.

Great series! Thanx for sharing.
