Impressive photographs too.

I've visited 20 of these, how many have you visited?

I've visited 9 and have plans to make it to Buenos Aires, Vancouver and Sydney. We'll be passing through Milan on our way from Lake Garda to Lake Como in 2022. We would like to visit Bruges, Vienna and Stockholm. A bunch of the cities on the list don't interest me. I can't believe that Rome, Florence, Venice and Charleston SC (which is often regarded as the number one US destination) aren't on the list. I would put Rome and Florence at the top of the list.

I’ve been to 25 of the places. I’m disappointed that my favorite place is not on the list. I couldn’t create even a very short list without including Florence.

I totally agree. I would only need a list of one or two to include Florence. We spent 11 weeks going all over Europe in 1973, getting as far north as Bergen Norway and as far south as Potenza Italy. Our favorite city was Florence, where we spent 6 wonderful days; number two was Rome, with Cambridge and Venice completing our top 4. We have a Med cruise booked in 2022 (re-booked from 2020) and will have two days in Florence and three in Venice. We can't wait. The most beautiful place we've ever visited is the Geirangerfjord in Norway on a 2018 Viking cruise, and Norway is the most beautiful of the almost 20 countries we've been to. New Zealand is in our plans.

I suspect we’ve been on the same cruises. We also loved Norway.

We went on "Into the Midnight Sun" on Viking in 2018; is that the one you went on? Incredibly beautiful. We're booked on Barcelona to Venice, followed by Basel to Amsterdam in 2022.

30 for me but I can list at least 20-30 that I've visited that should be on the list.

Jerusalem, Cairo, Ephesus, Kyoto, Great wall, Saint Petersburg, Beaver Channel, Macho Picchu, Tokyo, New Orleans, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Vancouver, Quebec City, Rome, Pisa, Venice, Vienna, Washington DC, and on and on.

I think I've managed about the same proportion of your list as I did of the original 50.
There are more I really want to visit or yours.

It’s hard to keep track. We’ve taken 3 Viking ocean cruises and three Viking river cruises. They were all great. On January 18th of last year we returned from a Santiago to Buenos Aires cruise, just in time to face the lockdown. I think our cruising days are over.

I've been to only three of those listed but I have been to a lot more places that were not listed. Europe three times, England once, and 28 times to the Caribbean. I would never venture to several of those especially the state of the world now but I guess I'm too old to even think of traveling to other countries now. I'll just have to stick to the good old USA. Thanks for the nice pictures.

It’s for sure you won’t visit those places AFTER you die.

I don’t agree with some of the list, but I’ve made it to 28. Other than Phuket, none of the other places are on my list of places still to visit. Cairo, Rome , Washington DC, Krakow, Kyoto, Shanghai, Jerusalem, St. Petersburg, Florence, London, Boston, Copenhagen, Cusco, and Dresden are all places that I would consider for the list.

Hey, me too! I bought a Nikon F from the exchange while stationed on USS Ajax AR-7 in Sasebo, three years later in 1962. Cost me a month's pay!
