Where did the "we" come from? And you're not a "comrade" of mine. Trump this week and LWW a while back.

Sure I am comrade, we are all comrades now.

You can go back into your original post and edit it. Hope this helps.

BHO started it by cloaking facts and information about his background. The news media never fully vetted him, either.

Trump did not start that argument.

Thanks. No doubt you've seen "The Fly"; the outcome of these "mergers" is somewhat unpredictable. Note the ears. The rest is anyone's guess.

I was incorrect about timing: Trump's exploitation of hate started earlier, with his leading the charge that Obama was not born in the U.S.

As for citing chapter and verse, the "good" news is Trump tweeted 34,000 times since 2015, so you can do directly the source. The "bad" news is we can't access those tweets right now because of his (good) ban from twitter.

It might surprise you to learn that I would welcome a healthy Republican Party. Our country needs two parties, but we also very badly need to learn to stop hating the other half.

P.S. I am fully aware that no one in the Attic has his/her beliefs altered by anything anyone else says here. 🙄
I was incorrect about timing: Trump's exploitation... (show quote)

I don't expect my beliefs, rooted in the idea that each human has the right to live with 100% free will and the responsibility to not deny it to others, will not change before or after my death. The problem is that narratives, media, and more of each suggest that my not wanting to participate or celebrate your choices denies you free will, but censorship, mandated association, mandated purchases, and a push for government to make all choices instead of me choosing for myself does NOT. There is no logic in that train of thought.

As for 'healthy' as it pertains to the Republican party, I feel a deep chill. For several years, the left has looked to Romney, and McCain as the exemplars of 'healthy'. First off, those two refused to engage in the battles necessary to sway opinion, constantly defending their opposition against ideas like '"Obama was born in Kenya" or "Obama is anti Christian", more than defending themselves against baseless charges that they were sexist, racist, anti-grandma or anti-dog. They were marshmallows politically. (And recall, the media effectively played the "next Hitler' card on those two, before suddenly holding them as the example of nobility.)

Yea right. Those who suggest, from the left, they want a 'healthy' GOP are just as truthful as those who hold up Carter as the ideal Democrat.

I'm consistent. If the Democrats are going to incorporate victim mentality, racial division via victim culture, critical race theory, reparations, and insane spending proposals that only empower government, I will hold up Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin as examples of a 'healthy' leftist party and of government controls on everything. Please study Cuba's and California's budgets to see leftism's best results. Try Venezuela and Detroit for average results, and try Stalin's 20 -ish million dead Russians, or Pol Pot's 2 million for some below average leftist numbers. A healthy Democrat party is the one that USED TO support actual free speech, the idea that people should make choices instead of government, and that personal accountability and responsibility was a gift instead of a burden.

Slowly or quickly, leftism, now mainstream in the DEM party, kills people's initiative, their faith, their God given rights, their dignity, and then their lives. A healthy America has common goals and differing plans for achieving those common goals. That is simple not the case now. One party seems to want to maintain the Constitutional structure even where cautious revision might be needed, and including virtually unbridled personal liberty, and the other seeks to install their views of liberty, over protest, and with or without consent, to me political rape.

I'd show you a link to a few really respectful and intelligent analysis videos, but many have been forcibly removed (pronounced BANNED) from the world of debate.

THAT is probably the most profound and informative declaration of the conservative mind I have seen on this forum. I hope you share, where possible, this post on other venues. Thank you, very much!
