It's been a while since I posted, and this even applies to my own social media/facebook updates. But that does not mean I stopped shooting. It just means I built up a fair number of favorite shots, even though it seems like I have come across many less critters in my travels this last year.
I'm shooting with a very worn Nikon d3400 - and my go to is common, a very standard 70 -300. Enjoy and comments are as always appreciated.

I am hoping to afford some better glass, and a Better Camera Body soon to step things up even more!

Enviousness overtook me for a second when I saw your shot of the Fisher.

As others have said, your equipment is performing well...it’s you are creating the wonderful images.

I especially like the snowy egret. Also the reddish egret. Both because the lighting is so good.

I'm always looking to get better - sometimes I see photos that really inspire me and the clarity of detail just wows me. Once I got my d3400 and was shooting at 24megapixels aprox I started to get some of what I wanted - (now I can't even look at my older photos with less resolution without being wistful)
I also do all my post in Photoshop and now in RAW so I know I am losing some flexibility but I use what I know I guess!
Thanks for the comments!
