Canon 18-135 USM (latest iteration). Covers most everything and saves a lot of lens changing.

If you filter and count your images in Lightroom, what surprises did you find? Do you use your own usage data to plan to sell unused lenses / cameras? Or maybe, to change the lenses you'll use more in 2021?

The circa 1981 Canon FD 200mm f/4 macro was my #1 used lens for keepers (mounted to a Sony a7II). Merging all the extended configurations, last year's #1 lens was the second most frequent in 2019, the EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM (mounted to an EOS 5DIII).

If you like statistics here are mine:
Canon 5D MIII
Photos taken during 2020 1813
Canon 24 mm f2.8 IS 1258
Canon 50 mm f1.4 213
Canon 85 mm f1.8 159
Canon 70-200 mm f4 IS L 183

Most used on my Canon 7DII for sports (which this year was not much due to the pandemic) Canon 70-200 f 2.8 L.
Favorite used on my Canon 5DII and 7DII is the Sigma 24-70f 2.8. For 2020 my most used lens....

Without a doubt my Canon EF 28-135 IS, next would be my 100-400 EF IS L lens.

Fabulous reference to the Lightroom Dashboard program. Nice to have.
I use my RF 24-105 the vast majority of the time. The second most was my EF-24 which is part of my lightweight travel set. I use them both on my EOS R, the latter using Canon's adaptor.

And thank you for the reference. Sincerely appreciated.

I couldn’t agree with you more! I just figured that i was not photographically savvy. I don’t want to spend 15-20 minutes on each photograph! Especially when I shoot 300-350 photos on Christmas Eve while with family.
