The frequent discussions (arguments?) about shooting raw vs. jpg leave me confused.

"RAW" is written "raw" by those that don't want to write "RAW" as "RAW". Some like "RAW" when not writing about steak tartare.....

The standard in the industry is to capitalize it. Camera manuals capitalize it.
