Most used: Nikkor 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5D.
Not my best lens, but the most versatile.
Second-most used: Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8D.
Both on a D850.

I hopefully will trade up to 18-300 this year.

Edited to add: This has prompted me buy the 18-300 from KEH just now. Thank you to America for the "stimmy" money that has allowed me to make this purchase!

Nikkor 400 F/2.8 on either D500 or D850

I'm starting out the new year with the 300 F/4.0 pf, 1.4tc on D7200

The Nikon 28-300mm was the lens I used most. I used several lenses on the mirrorless Sony and Fuji. I have no plans to buy or sell lenses - or cameras.

Found no distinct winner. But fisheye and 400 were bringing up the rear.

FLs in the most used range run 24 to 50, but thaz many lenses, with no particular or obvious single favorite.

Clearly, if I were a bare bones user I’d be leaning on one favorite 35 prime.

24-70mm or 50mm-S on the Z6ll
200-500mm on the D7200
But the 200-500mm has been used the most since I put in new bird feeders.

If you filter and count your images in Lightroom, what surprises did you find? Do you use your own usage data to plan to sell unused lenses / cameras? Or maybe, to change the lenses you'll use more in 2021?

The circa 1981 Canon FD 200mm f/4 macro was my #1 used lens for keepers (mounted to a Sony a7II). Merging all the extended configurations, last year's #1 lens was the second most frequent in 2019, the EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM (mounted to an EOS 5DIII).

My biggest surprise was how few pictures I took in 2020. I knew I took less than in previous years, but didn’t realize how much fewer.
As for lens usage, on my Nikon Df, early in the year I used my AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G most. Then, later, I used my Voigtlander 40mm f/2 SL II S the most.
On my Leica M10 I used my Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH a little more than 80% of the time.

EF24-70mm f/2.8L II, EF100-400mm f/4-5.6L II and EF35mm f/1.4L in roughly equal parts based on close-to-home excursions.

Would have used my EF16-35mm and EF100-400mm a lot more if we'd been able to travel.
