After my post asking about MPB "trade/buy" experiences, now I'm wondering if I should trade the fuji xe2 for the fuji xt1. Any suggestions from you more experienced photography guys? Thanks

I’m not familiar with the XE2 but I have an XT-1 and XT-3. The XT-3 is noticeably advanced over the 1 for still photography. Either is a great camera. Good luck.

They're the same sensor so in that regard the same camera. The X-T1 is slightly bigger and heavier but also more feature advanced -- faster AF, bigger EVF. Not huge differences until you move to the next gen sensor in the X-T2 or X-E3. X-E2 to X-T1 is not a lot of change unless you can really say for example the little extra AF speed is really going to matter to you.

Both have the 16 mp sensor. the XTi is weather sealed body and has a little more features, other than that their both neck & neck.

I would save up and wait for an X-T2 - big difference.

The Xe-3 is in a very different world than the xe2 or the xt1...

I do have the Xe-3 and an older Xe-1. I prefer the Xe-1. It renders very much like film. However, the Xe-3 is loaded with much more tech than the Xe-1 and the Xe-2. I'm by no means the lone voice on this point. It's well written about in many forums. It's worth you checking it out. Do a search comparing the two. Good luck.

I have both. My first Fuji was the Xe2. I bought the XT1 and prefer it to the Xe2. The Viewfinder, weather sealing and general handling are better. The sensors are the same so the output is the same.

I still use my Xe2 occasionally and it still makes great images. I just find the viewfinder on the T1 so much better and here is Costa Rica weather/dust sealing is very important.

Wow! I purchased a used X-E1in beautiful condition earlier this year as a second camera to my X-H1. I do love the X-E1 but I was thinking I'd really like to get an X-E3 for the additional megapixels, features and newer sensors but now you got me thinking. I will definitely do some forum research. The one thing I don't like about the X-E1 is the focus peeking for manual focus really sucks. It's often difficult to see the white in-focus highlights.

As always, I will say to look for comparisons online. I like having a pop-up flash.
