Ah, spoken like a committed TDS afflicted Trump hater...carry on lil feller~

Jake, I am simply stating what appears to be the facts. You can debate them if you wish. If some of us dislike Trump maybe it’s due to what we understand to be his actions.

Some obviously support him no matter what and therefore assume others hate him”no matter what.” But facts do matter. You might interpret them differently than I do, but let’s not ignore them.

OK spokie, let's go with this. I was not a Trump supporter even through the primaries. I was a Dr. Ben Carson supporter until he dropped out...(Unfortunate)...However after Trumps policies I have become a supporter. What has he done that so inflames you? I realize he is crass, rude, obnoxious and a down in the street NYC gutter fighter, which you libs cant handle. It is indeed unfortunate progressives can't see what the man has done for our country.

You tend to see things as either black or white. Your assessment of Congress is somewhat overblown and unfair. Yes, it is sometimes inefficient—but it’s bound to be in a democracy. You know what is more efficient? An autocracy. Which is what Trump is openly attempting to create. Which means bye-bye democracy.

Spokie, it is Christmas and I really did not want to get into these discussions because it is a week to be thankful and one for reflection and the appreciation of others. But I will offer this, I have been watching congress for about 15 years now, and it seems as if they have foregone the budgetary process and simply pass omnibus bills or bills such as the Covid relief. They are a mess, there is little accountability for the trillions of dollars that flow out of DC, there is little review to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs that they are spending tax dollars on, and I say tax dollars with my tongue in cheek because the government sees no problem in printing money to facilitate its deficit spending.

Consider this, if a publicly traded company were to be run as inefficiently and with as little accountability as our federal government they would be brought before congress and publicly humiliated just before the SEC kicked them off of the stock exchange. How is it that these hypocrites can demand accountability of the public yet spend public funds with total abandonment. Is it too much to ask for our government to stop playing politics between the two parties and do their jobs with the same integrity that we approach ours?
