I have an XTI and enjoy the camera as a backup. I purchased this 8 years ago from a friend. it works flawlessly except when shooting the first shot of the day in automatic. The first shot doesn’t show up on the screen. After that first shot it works fine. In manual there is no problem. I brought this up when I first joined UHH. Do you experience that with your XTI?

No, I never have. It was mine since it first came out, I just use it occasionally now to keep it working and it was also a backup. Still a great little camera that takes excellent photos. I have others, so my Granddaughter will have this one.

A nice gift for your granddaughter. The XTi was my first DSLR. I’ve sold a few pictures that I took with it.
