My dad taught my mom how to drive in the very early '50s, she was 35ish ± before she learned to drive. Once she learned to drive, my dad bought her a car...it was a 1948 Plymouth coupe just like your photo only a deeper blue color. When I saw your photos, it brought me back to my childhood. Thanks for sharing these....good memories good photos.

My father's first car, but it was green. There was no rear seat and I sat on a wooden stool wedged in behind the driver's seat.
