Of course I'll get jabbed. Who you gonna believe on a health issue -- conspiracy theorists or doctors and nurses????? THINK about that.

I got my Flu Shot in late October of this year. No mention then, when the COVID-19 vaccine would be available at my medical center. Two of my male friends, say they will not take the vaccine. They are afraid of other health issues from taking it. Seems like many think the same as my two friends. According to TV News Reports. I plan to take the vaccine, when the opportunity arises. Will you take the vaccine?

As a overweight, post coronary bypass surgery, hypertensive, old curmudgeon, very simply and emphatically, YES.

Food for thought...
NOT to get Biblical (entirely), or sound like a conspiracy theorist.......
Any of y'all recall reading about the "Mark of the Beast"?
I'll just leave it at that.

I know about the the mark of the beast. But what does that have to do with this shot?

Yes, I will get it. I am a teacher and because of age and asthma have been teaching virtually.
I can't wait to get back into school.

I will take it as soon as allowed. Regarding your two male friends, will the side effects of taking it be as bad as not taking it, death?

And not just death, but having the virus bad enough to be hospitalized can entail lots of suffering, and now they are finding long term bad effects from infection.

When it is available to me I plan to get it from my GP. I'm old enough to remember getting all of the versions of Salk Anti-Polio vaccines, living thru all of the flu epidemics, measles, mumps, and other sundry childhood ails.

I think about all of the risks people have taken to settle this country! Those were real risk takers.

I personally believe what one of my old doctors told me, 'Death is a part of life, and it is not a question of IF but WHEN!'

I'm getting the shot when it's available thru the VA. I don't want to hurry the 'WHEN'.

A new more virulent vaccine resistant strain is spreading in South East UK

NOT TRUE. There is a new strain which does seem to spread more easily but the scientists believe at the moment that the current vaccines will most likely work just as well on it. Even if they don't they say that to make a minor adjustment to the vaccine should only take a few weeks.

Flu is a Corona Virus and it changes every year. The vaccine is tweaked every autumn.

You only have to read the enormous list of qualification held by our government's medical advisers to understand that you should listen to them, not some conspiracy theorist who believes every bit of rubbish which he/she reads online.

Covid is bad enough. We really don't want to scare people even more by repeating unsubstantiated rumour.

I am an R/N, I will definitely take it. I work at a children's hospital so our priority is lower than the hospitals that care for adults. I don't know when it will be available to me but hope it is soon. I understand the apprehension some people may have. Having friends working at hospitals caring for victims of this virus and what they have witnessed scares me. I would rather gamble on the shot that suffer through the virus. Just my opinion for what it's worth..hope everyone stays safe until we can get through this.

Good for you to take the vaccine. There are at least 3 manufactures of the vaccine. Pfizer is the leader, says the TV News. Health Care Workers and Seniors in Rest Homes, are recommended to take it firsthand. I don't expect it to be available for myself until early Spring, next year.

I will get the vaccine when available. "She Who Must Be Obeyed" will make sure I do. I'm 69 (today) and in very good health. I've worked every day at my job at Lowe's and have worn a mask since April. What's surprising is there have only been three cases of COVID19 among my co-workers and each of us interacts with hundreds of customers a day.
