There will be more controls enacted to curtail COVID. Heck I wouldn’t be surprised if travel is restricted

As a foreigner looking at your country from the outside, but also looking at the rest of the world countries, I believe an "isolationist America First policy" is/was a mistake. You can look out for Number 1, but you don't do it by snubbing your friends and allies. Better to manipulate from the inside than to rant and complain from the outside.
