It doesn't USUALLY work when the horizon line is in the middle, cutting the composition exactly in half. But here ... I really like this one. The top half and bottom half are equally loaded with visual energy. Nicely done, IMHO.

Stunning photo, FC. Gorgeous water and sky action. That should be a fantastic 60 x 40 metal. Is that for the house or other plans?

I totally agree about horizon line...normally I would crop this to 2 x 1 and cut out some of the sky but this was a special sky...
