F1 is interesting/fun to watch - NASCAR boring: left turn, left turn, left turn,...

At least NASCAR is more competitive, with lots more passing (or overtaking as F1 would have it). I have seen drivers go down a lap and come back to win.

Not much anymore but I was a fan way back when Graham Hill and Jim Clark were racing. In those days there was more leeway for interesting innovations such as the 6 wheel tyrells. Now the rules are rigid and the cars all similar except for livery. Not as interesting in my view.

Jim Clark, Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart. Those were the days!

No. I've just watched him qualify 2nd. Another front row lockout for Mercedes.

You are correct, when I read F1.com, it had Russell in 7th place, I looked again and now he is 2nd.

George Russell, Did a fantastic job today, if it wasn't for his pit crew, he probably would have won the race, nobody could touch him. I hope he gets a better ride next season.

I hope Lewis is out next week and Russell gets the seat again. MUCH better race today.

I hope that the stewards don't take away Russel's points because of the tyre screw-up. That was a team error, so any penalty should only go to the team...

I was gutted for him when he got that puncture...

Agree completely. Russell didn't get out of the car and mess up with the tires. I hope Lewis misses next week and he gets another shot.
