Czech police on the hunt for rifle stolen by deer...

Police in the Czech Republic have put out an unusual request after a deer stole a hunter’s gun. It fled the scene with the gun lodged in its antlers.

The deer was startled by a dog and charged straight towards a member of a party of hunters. They were hunting in the woods near the town of Horní Planá, not far from the Austrian border.

Just saw that. That ought to get a hunter's attention when they see it with a rife. LOL

Nothing clarifies your thoughts on hunting like realizing that YOU are being hunted.

Sounds like the beginnings of some type of poetic justice doesn't it.
I support the right to arm bears also. :)

When I read the title, I thought it would of been like something from The Far Side toon series.

An American lawyer heard that there is good hunting in the Czech Republic, so he bought a ticket and flew to Prague. There, he hired a Czech guide to show him where he could get a bear. The guide agreed for $200 per day and took him to a game reserve where only important or wealthy people could afford to hunt. After a day of searching and tracking, the lawyer still didn't have his bear and figured the guide was stalling to get more money, so he made a deal with the Czech. "I will give you a thousand dollar bonus for every bear you get me." Within an hour, the lawyer got two bears and then killed the Czech guide and hid his body in a cave. A forest ranger heard the shots and came to investigate. He saw the lawyer, a 400 kilogram female bear and a 300 kilogram male bear, but no guide. When he asked the lawyer where his guide was, the lawyer replied, "One of the bears killed and ate him." The ranger then handcuffed him and took him to a court where he was convicted and sentenced by a judge to 20 years in prison. The lawyer tried denials, threats and bribery, but nothing worked. Finally, in resignation, he asked the judge, "How did you know?" The judge replied, "When an American lawyer tells you that the Czech is in the male, you know he is lying."
