And I thoroughly agree that it’s a Coopers- likely a female - (1) gauging its size to the fence boards and (2) the relatively smaller proportionate length and breadth of breast feathers compared with that of the same feathers (proportionately much longer and wider) on the smaller sharp-shinned hawk.
