Annoying Pop-Ups

Although I have Notifications turned off, I keep getting pop-ups in the lower right corner advertising Paintshop Pro. Is there a way to stop these?
Got it! I had the same problem with Macrium Reflect, but I finally found a way to stop it. Paintshop was more challenging. "Help" said that I could turn those pop-ups on and off, but it didn't say how. Toward the bottom of the Help menu is a link for Message preferences.

These are pop-ups advertising Paintshop. They appear in the lower right of my screen, regardless what I doing. I thought I had stopped them, but I guess not.
