Me - pretty much every day! Still can't get used to the protocol, although I support it.

I just heard on the news a doctor who said that, given the relative sizes of the covid particles and the spacing of the fibers in masks, wearing a mask is like using a chain link fence to keep out mosquitos.

Interesting......

This is oft repeated garbage giving a totally erroneous picture of mask filter challenges and protection afforded to both the wearer and to other people.

Let me know if you want to pursue this.

If those particles were dry that might make sense. But, when we cough or sneeze what we project is moisture that the virus attaches to. That moisture, small water droplets, may be captured by a mask.

Yesterday I went into Lowe's without a mask. I went directly to a register to pay for a propane tank. As I walked out the door I realized I had no mask on. Nobody said anything. I got the mask from my car before going to get the tank.

Oh, so true. My bad, caught Covid 19 on a trip that had been planned for over a year and lasting 10 days. First evening we stopped at a McDonalds in a small country town in Missouri. Drive through line had about 40 cars in it so we opted to run inside and do a carry out. Big mistake. No one inside including the staff had a mask on and proceeded to ridicule us for wearing ours, even getting in our faces and yelling at us. Within a week four of us began feeling bad. By the time we got home four of the six of had it. The other two had already recovered a few weeks before the trip. We firmly believe that the lack of masks and the actions of the people and staff in that McDonalds were the cause for our contamination. Even though we've had it, and have a degree of immunity for a while we mask everywhere we go without fail.

So true, keep forgetting and spending a lot of time going back for the mask. The statement by Dr. Quack is very irritating. I wonder how he'd feel sitting in that Missouri MacDonalds?

Could it be the other four got COVID-19
From the two who had it & recovered from it before rather than from McDonald’s? Just wondering.
