Just a quick short one today...Since the ship was moved to its new berth, late last year, it's become impossible to get a full shot of the whole ship. The company who own the oposite dock are very security conscious and it's all gated and locked up with razor wire on the top of a 20' high fence. There were no phone numbers shown so I did a search when I got home and found just who they are. I contacted the Ports Manager via an Email address they showed. He wrote back almost straight away and said I would be very welcome to come onto their site/dock. I will be escorted as a visitor to the site. He asked me when I'd like to come down, so hopefully it will happen tomorrow morning. I'll be able to post some shots of the whole ship and it will be interesting to view it from the other side. These are a few I did get this morning, if you look at the left side of the ship you can see the dock where I'll take my shots from.. The display board explains what the other steam ship is... Sadly all tours and visits have been postponed due to a minor Corona scare in Adelaide.
I, like many others, have been following the progress. Good narrative, interesting shots, unfortunately the last one says it all. Keep up the good work and keep us informed.

Thank you for continuing the updates of this magnificent ship. I am so glad you will be able to continue now that you have permission. I am in awe that one of the tow ships is still around as well. What a great expansion to Adelaide's story!!! Will the Nelcebee also be restored and displayed?

Not sure what's in store for the Nelcebee yet Dodie, the COA is taking priority just now...
I am really enjoying this adventure, Ron. I can hardly wait for it to be complete but I guess that will take a while!
Thanks Carol...Just got home, went down again this morning and was allowed access to the opposite dock so I could get some shots of the whole ship on its barge...
