Yes it recovered and flew away after about 20 minutes or so.

I get one almost every day. Most fly away. Some hit the deck and take minutes to recover. Occasional deader (one a couple of days ago).

Two rooms with large windows on three sides.

This year has been much worse than previous 14. Must be global warming.

Great that it was not injured. I used to do a turn around at the Fox store on the school bus back in the '60's it was the end of the pavement. There was one gas pump like the ones back in the '20's and '30's. You had to hand pump the gas up into the glass container then gravity did the rest into your tank. Long long time ago far far away.
