What have I done to my Nikon Z50?

On Days 1-4 was able to shoot NEF images. Lightroom and Photoshop were able to read them.
Today, neither LR nor PS is able to read a NEF file. They can read a JPG file.
The camera is capturing the NEF and JPG files-They show up on my PC.
Does anyone have a guess on the setting I need to change in order to get out of this situation?

Most likely that PS and LR have not updated their programs, as of yet, to read the new NEF files.

I have found the problem-Me. Not a LR/PS problem.

If he WAS able to read them, as he said, not having an update would NOT make that ability go away...
