What would be the best cell phone net work with unlimited text, data, and talk for seniors?

A lot depends on how much you depend on the cell network and how much you travel away from your home location. While my wife and I traveled in our RV, we used Verizon and were pleased with the reception. This is my situation, your situation may vary. Good luck in finding a carrier that works for you.

Checkout Consumer Cellular.I have used them for over 8 years. Great company and pricing. Your local Target store can set you up or Consumer can send you a card for your phone.

I used consumer cellular first then went to patriot mobile but returned to consumer and haven't switched back. I highly recommend them.

It can depend on how you define best. Where I live in WV, we have areas that if you don't have AT&T you won't get a signal in a lot of places however, I have worked in places that Verizon had the same primary network. Check your area to see who has the best network and then look at vendors that also use that network. As example where I live, AT&T is primary and we have other companies but they are not allowed to operate from the AT&T towers. From my home you can't get a Version signal here.

another vote for Consumer Cellular - they use Verizon’s towers/network.

I also vote for Consumer Cellular. You can buy one of their phones, one from AT&T or (I think) even one from T-Mobile. CC will send you a SIM card for free, or you can get one at Target. If you want to get a SIM card (and maybe a phone) from Target, call CC first and talk to a customer service rep to ensure you will get the right type of SIM for the phone. If you buy a SIM from Target, CC will deduct the cost from your first charge, effectively reimbursing you for the SIM card. I have used CC for several years and really like their service.

As a Canadian who was travelling extensively I would recommend Verizon over ATT for States-wide coverage. I was very disappointed in ATT's coverage and found that people using Verizon were better served in that respect. If you chose one of the other "providers" who just piggy-back on the big boys networks, make sure that they are allied with Verizon if you travel a lot.

... one more vote for "Consumer Cellular" ...

I tried to join through my local 'Target' but talked to a young man who did not know what 'CC' was ... contacted 'CC' direct, had the Sim card in two days, called to make the switch, now I'm a happy CCer who cut his cell phone bill by more than $100.00 a month ... told by 'CC' that they use AT&T and T-Mobile towers ...

I haven't seen anyone beat T-Mobile for seniors. $25/ month for everything unlimited including all taxes and fees.

Wife and I have Verizon. Personally I think it is over priced BUT I live in Florida and when we had our last hurricane that went over Orlando we had service when many in our neighborhood did not. Their reliability is what I pay for, sure is not their service.
