I've tried almost all recipe's you've posted and so far you've never let me down. Besides being a good photographer you must have been a hell of a cook too.

Sorry, AP, I don't cook, not because I don't want, but I have physical limitations, I can't stand for very long, my legs are shot.

Don't feel bad, Earnest Botello. I too, have medical issues! A Stroke took the best of me in 1989 two weeks being in the VA Hospital Jamaica Plains, MA, I had a Pulmonary Embolism. 10 days after that, I gained Bacteria Phunimoia, for 12 days! This illness was worst than my whole Stroke.

On June 4, 2014, I had 3 Clogged Arties, and had to have open heart surgery, took 3 1/2 hours with no complications! I now have paralysis on my left side hand and foot, and, I am left handed, HOW'S THAT!

The more you learn about your sickness, the easier it is to live your life! I can't run or walk fast anymore. But, I walk slow and get by, watch where you step and you will not fall.

Don't even let things bother you! Just take your time and you'll get there . . . My photography goes back to Viet Nam 1966, 67, and 3 months in 68!

Did you know, that I photographed: Julia and Paul Child, in their home, Sep. 1978! I LOVE

WOW AP. First off, thanks for your service to our country. Unfortunately I was not able to serve due to severe Asthma at that time. Good Lord knows my Dad and I tried every door that would allow me to serve. Second off, I am so sorry to hear of the medical issues. Over the years I have not been afflicted with medical issues as you. Although I do suffer from Multiple Sclerosis, diagnosed in 1993, I am one of the lucky ones that it hasn't kicked my AR$$, I have kicked its. On goes the battle. Two weeks ago it was determined I need a total knee replacement! That is now scheduled for November 24th. Reading your post of the road you have traveled is an inspiration to me. "The more you learn about your sickness, the easier it is to live your life! Don't even let things bother you! Just take your time and you'll get there." Well said. Third off, keep on cooking! Your recipes, narrative and photos are awesome. Fourth off....WOW, I can't believe I said what I said about my personal life!!!! Regards AP, Jeff

When I cook soup, I make 6 - 16 quarts and freeze in quart containers. We love soup. Recipe sounds good.
Thanks. Great image!
Mark

If I had just a freezer by itself, I too, would make all those quarts and freeze them! Hope you try it, it's very tasty. Hot or cold! AP

Your fine response is welcome back, Sam! I would have to say, if this is your very first try making this fine and tasty, potatoe leek soup. Betcha, comes out really good on your first try!

Stand in line; I'm always buying spices and herbs! AP
