off of Sandy Neck beach October 27. Hundreds of water fowl just bobbing in the water. This photo portrays just a small slice of the immense population. A wide angle lens would of been much better on capturing the scope of the population. A download and then magnification shows detail much better.

Erik, this is a very interesting photograph. There seems to be an unmarked boundary past which the vast population prefers to stay beyond. This is a great observational photograph.

Enjoyed your picture. We lived for 3o years 2 miles from Sandy Night and spent many happy days on the beach

Great use of the "Rule of thirds", including only 1/3 of the birds is only the half of it.... (good grief, to quote Peanuts. Too much coffee I think). Beautiful rendering. The tones in this image are restful and the whole is a very pleasing result. Please stay well and keep on sharing.
