I am retired and just started taking serious pictures. Got tired of the same old pics and want to learn how to take "really good" pictures. Took several pictures that I thought were a good start on vacation in Michigan. There is so much to learn! Feel free to coment on the attached shots. :-D
Lake Michigan
Lake Michigan
Old manison in St Joseph Michigan
I really like the second pic, great shot
The third pic appears to have a problem with the lighting.
Thank you Jordan, it was late afternoon when I saw this house and made my hubbs stop! I wanted to show how rundown and sad the house looked...Old houses are a favoriate of mine...there is such story that goes with them.
welcome and keep shooting, nice shots. Almost nobody shares picts of seagulls. Sharp grass shot. House with light coming in is interesting too. Draws eyes to the mansion.
Tk you for looking at my pics. Hope to post more over the weekend.... :)

I like the beach grass, slight tilt to the right however, the lake will empty that way. :) Also like the house. Very nice although I would lose the date stamps, but that's just me.
LOL..., the date stamp is gone. Wasn't sure the dune/grass would turn out ok.

I like pictures of old houses too. They all seem to be wanting to tell their own personal stories and when you take their picture, they will always be there for you to look at and "listen to".
