He was/is the one and only Bond and will never die, living on with his image on the screen for generations to come.

He will be remembered the most for his James Bond character. But I truly like his role as captain Marko Ramius in the Hunt for Red October… “Give me a ping, Vasily… one ping only please”.

He was obviously the best of the James Bond. His replacement actors, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton would rank 2nd and 3rd IMO. Two beautiful Bond Girls also passed away.. Within the past year. There were plans to replace James Bond with a British 007 woman. She was ready to go. But, it was decided that the woman version would not be so popular among die hard James Bond movie fans. The James Bond movies date back to 1962.

Tonight I watched "Dr No" and "From Russia With Love".

Imho SC is the best Bond.

RIP Sean Connery.

Roger Moore was a close second, but the rest of them,..........meh.

Does anyone else think it is ironic that both Sean Connery and Honor Blackman both died in the same year?

While everyone remembers Sir Sean Connery as the quintessential James Bond, he was a wonderful actor who had a leading part in the Indiana Jones movie and the Untouchables Movie.
An actor’s talent is able to span many roles.

Rest In Peace, Sean Connery

For me, Roger Moore was my least favorite. Daniel Craig would be my second favorite, but not a close second.

Actually I liked Roger Moore better for the overall way he portrayed the character...although only slightly. I much preferred his roles later in life to early works...he worked much better as the fatherly/grandfatherly type I think... it that’s probably more of a tribute to his ability to portray just about any character well.
