Hi everyone,I would be grateful for help to find out how I can discover the shutter activation on the above camera .
Thank you for your help, Kiwi
Welcome to UHH! I think it records the shutter count on the SD card when you take a picture. Most camera shops have a quick means of reading it. There are probably other ways to read it as well.
If you'll post a recent photo taken with that camera, we can read the EXIF info and tell you the shutter count. Or, you can load a recent photo into any program that displays the EXIF info (I use IrfanView, a free photo editor) and view the information yourself. Or, you can upload a recent photo to a web site that can show you the shutter count. Search your browser for "shutter count" for a list of sites.

I just received my refurbished Nikon D810 and wanted to know the shutter count. I have a MacBook Pro laptop. I took a photo with the 810, removed the SD card from the camera and inserted in the computer. After clicking the icon for the card I opened the 2 files to reach the image. Right clicking on the image I used "open with" and selected preview. In the top bar I selected "Tools" and opened "Show Inspector". Clicking on the box with the "i" and scrolling down I found that the photo I had taken was #177.
I wanted to confirm this so I went to my web browser and typed in "camera shutter count" and selected the following website:
www.camerashuttercount.com. There I followed the directions to upload my photo. It took several minutes to work but came back with the same 177.
I hope this helps.

I just loaded one of my D7500 photos into Jeffery's Image Metadata Reader. You can load either RAW or .jpeg files.

Take your last photo and upload it to camerashuttercount.com.

Here's a feature in Jeffery's Metadata Reader that I like a lot. It shows what the focusing distance was and the depth of field. It displays the distances in meters and centimeters. I convert that into feet and inches. The model was about 2 meters from the camera. The depth of field ranged from 36 centimeters in front of the model to 56 centimeters behind the model.
Irfanview (free), with the plug-ins, will give you lots of info about a shot.
My shutter count. com works great for me
Connect your camera to your pc, Google shutter count for nikon transfer latest pic fom your files and the shutter count will display

So, are they resetting the camera during refurbishment? 177 seems impossibly low for a camera to be refurbished and resetting it doesn't give you much info about how much it was used.
