I am a 65 year old male. Cal says 86 years. However, I have COPD. I don't really see what driving a car has to do with my personal health. Maybe if I give up driving now I'll live to be a 100.

You got 2 more years than I did! I am 64 and I only got 84 but had a heart attack 2 years ago and have 3 stents and quit smoking then. Interesting interaction.
I'm 59 and the calculator said 98. My wife's said 101. We got married late (in our 40's), it's amazing to think we might be able to celebrate our 50th anniversary.

It's all about actuarial tables. Crazy drivers die younger.

Or, road rage leads to stress which leads to a heart attack thus an early grave.
Now at 65, I noticed my driving is not as good as when I was younger.

I had quit smoking three years ago but the question only went back two years. My breathing was better when I was smoking then it is now. Wish I had never started.
So far no heart attack or stents. It will be the COPD that kills me.
67 now and says I will make it to 87. Buckeling up in the car is good for one year and no accidents or tickets is good for another one. My reflexes are slower than 20 yrs ago so we don't tailgate anymore. 3 seconds between cars not 2 sec. I will probably outlive everyone I know because I am more stubborn than they are.
Gee, I have had open heart surgery and my calculated age is 91. THANK YOU. I'm going to hold it to you.

I'm 64 and the Calc said 82 ... I'd be tickled if I get that and I'm going to hold the Calc to it.
Never had a heart attack but I have IHD, a double bypass 20 years ago. The last 2 recent stent operations failed (1 artery already died and the other blocked artery in an inoperable location). The good news is the cardiologists said it's like I have an old '57 Chevy that runs great around town but I lost the top 2 gears.
I can still play a round of golf (on an empty stomach) but can't get too excited if I do good or bad. Last year my 4-man team was in the county tournament (we won). I had no problems whatsoever until the 3 playoff holes ... ended up taking 3 nitro tablets to get through those.
82 ... you bet... I'll take 82.
BW326 - After my quadruple bypass, I was released on the 3rd day because they found me wandering the nurses area getting a coffee. The PA for the surgeon said it surgery open heart but 'off-machine' so no blood machine or lung and I did fine. Told me to enjoy another 50 years and like you 'I'm holding them to it'
Stay healthy young man
