Another absolutely incredible set of photos and a great narrative to go along. The diversity of your subjects and the adaptation of your photography skills to them is very impressive. Thanks for sharing with us.

Great photos, plus a great narrative! Well done! So many good shots that I can't pick a favorite!

Back in 1954 and 1955, my high school buddies and I sometimes raced around the square on Saturday nights. Just to be ornery!
Thanks for the memories,
Don

Love the photos. Especially how sharp the images. And the factual commentary about the architecture. From a Penn grad in Texas.

Thank you crafterwantabe, CASphoto, AFPhoto, Don, Earnest, ballsafire, Bill, Susan, appealnow, Hereford, Saigon, Carol, James, Vicki! I've been working on a post about older lenses and searching my own catalog for images that support that discussion. This evening / weekend in Philadelphia came up in my search of the archives. I'd suggest to my younger self some other ideas, if I was there again. A few "fun facts" I uncovered about City Hall gave me a new appreciation of the building too. Thank you all for your kind comments.

One of the Very best and most comprehensive BackStories I’ve ever read!
And the architectural photography is a good representation of the subject, as well.
