They are fairly common out West...here in Oregon I get them to come to my suet & sunflower seed feeders pretty often.....BUT they are really wary & skittish! Not to easy to get the best positions to photograph them! But I bet you have Cardinals!?? I never have seen one before! I'll trade you a pair of Flickers for a half dozen Cardinals! LOl...

Hi, thanks for commenting! I appreciate that a lot. Hang out some sunflower seed feeders and a block of Peanut butter type suet...if they are around they follow the other birds & will eventually come visit. They are the TOP boss at the bird feeders! Good luck!
