Welcome to the Hog, Former Navy corpsman, August '68 - July '72. Spent time at Camp LeJeune, February '69 to March '71, at USN Hospital and 2nd Division, then to the "Gator Navy" in Norfolk, VA, until release. Consider myself fortunate to not go to Vietnam. I do think all who did are heroes.

Semper Fi, Fifth Marine Division, 28th Marine Regiment, ran the San Mateo dental clinic on Camp Pendleton 1967-78 during Viet Nam, last stop and dental fix before our guys shipped out for Nam. Lot of my patients and good friends didn't make it back home. Still miss them after fifty-three-years. Once a jar-head, always a jar-head.

Bravo 1/3 Nov '68 to May '69, 1st 8" Howitzer Battery (SP) May '69 to Oct '69.
Decided to go Submarines after that.
Oh yea home town Santa Cruz. My brother's still in the house we grew up in, and it's still standing.
Glad I'm NC now.
