David, I have seen a bunch of them when deer hunting in Florida and they do a lot of crazy things. I loved watching them hunt dove and quail in particular. You captured a fantastic photo of this youngster.

A guy I used to work with adopted a baby bob cat and kept it as a pet until it was an adult.
He kept it until it finally died after 7 years.
Honestly, I was terrified of it. It was large!
Very few places allow you to keep one as a pet... It was allowed in Maine at the time.
