What IS true is that Trump tried to get Dems to work with him and they won't. Can you imagine Nancy and Chuck saying: "OK, Trump, let's work together on a good health care plan"?? They would rather stiff Americans on a good plan than do that.

Why he hasn't issued that executive order is anyone's guess. We may never know why he didn't (or couldn't) do that.....and he may yet do it. But it doesn't negate the FACT that he tried to pass three bills during the past 3+ years.

A little known fact, there was a legal way around that mandate to purchase coverage under the ACA. All you needed to do come tax time was to declare that purchasing coverage wasn't affordable!
How do I know this? Because I took advantage of that loophole several times while filing my taxes!

The GOP was all about repealing the ACA, they tried to do that three times in 2017 without success, but they NEVER intended to provide a replacement!
Not even "behind closed doors" did the GOP try to write a replacement bill for the ACA.
It was all about erasing the Obama legacy, it was never about writing a better bill!
Let's not lose sight of the fact that the GOP did everything in their power to thwart President Obama and any of his proposed policies! So it's no wonder that you claim that the Democrats refuse to work with trump.
It wasn't Senator McCain's hatred of trump which tanked that bill, it was the bill itself!
Senator McCain just happened to cast the deciding vote against a BAD bill. There were a majority of other Senators who happened to agree with him! Why aren't you going after any of the others who voted against that bill? Oh that's right, Senator McCain isn't here any longer to defend himself while the others are alive and kicking!
