When there is lovely colour in the car, I think colour works very well. However, where the main subject is in subdued colours, such as the last shot, it would be great to have the subject car in colour and the background in B&W. For the subject in 5, the lining looks great in colour. Extra work, I know.

Thank You Dave, I appreciate your comments !!

Some work in B&W but a car like #4 really shines in color. You need color to show the red body and all of the bright brass. You would never get that in B&W. Some others are OK without the color reference but the old Ford (Model T?) needs color. JMHO.

Thank You for viewing and commenting !! You're very correct, some work in B&W but that's not always the case !! Thanks Again

I like the color for bringing out the beauty in these old machines.

Clearly the color shots are superior.

In the world of seeing cars, we always tend to comment on the color of cars... regardless of the age.

I like b&w, but for these cars I like color. Good shots.

Beatiful set.
Photography of vintage objects in black and white gives it a more vintage atmosphere, but both black and white and color have their charm
