Yes, I used to find these moths around my bAck door in the mornings. I left our back porch light on last night to see if I might attract something, but it is getting late in the season now. I will go check to see if
I attracted anything once it is daylight, but it is still dark out right now.
Thank you for your comment.
A moth left over from yesterday: Primrose moth:
Whenever I notice Common Primrose in bloom along the roadsides I start looking for the beautiful little night moth that feeds on it. The first time I saw a pink Primrose moth nestled within a closed withered blossom, I had thought I was looking at a new wildflower that I had found. Not so, for as I got closer I discovered it was a tiny, pink moth within the bloom. These little moths only inhabit the Primrose blossom at night ( this moth has been called the Pink nightmoth by some)and as night comes to an end the Primrose will close its blossoms and the moth often stays within the blossom as can be seen in the first picture included. This is always my first moth to find each year and I still find it exciting every time when I find it anew!

Very nice ,td.
Made your pork tenderloin with bacon....wasn't as pretty as yours- I think because I baked it-probably you roasted it on a rotisserie. Very tasty idea for sure! I currently do not have a rostisserie...

Great find, Fa! I've never seen a pink moth! I'll have to check those primroses when I see them...fascinating!
A bit off topic but still following a butterfly theme.Decorating with butterflies!
We love yard sales for you never know what treasure you might find! A few years ago we found butterfly patterned wallpaper selling at 10 cents a roll! It was good quality and so we took several rolls home! I mean “WoW!”, And so our dining room became our butterfly room! And we added a few
butterfly items: napkin rings, a butterfly lamp, which we use as a night light, and most recently, this summer, our 13 year oldgranddaughter painted a Tiger Swallowtail butterfly for us and now that painting now hangs in our dining room!
