For most of my life, I would stomp any spider I came across or came across me! Several years ago I was educated in the reason that spiders should not be "stomped" on. Therefore, I have a new appreciation and enjoy photographing them.
thank you for this look. I cannot imagine what those thorny legs would feel like, but it is so cool looking.

Lynx Spider. Rarely bites humans, but it is venomous. Not deadly, but still pretty painful if bitten.

Loc: I am from Gaffney, S.C. but live in Utah.
I realize that most spiders are harmless to humans but I still get rid of Black Widows when I run across one. I have never had occasion to run across a Brown Recluse but I would stomp it also.
