Looking for Nikon D810

Hello Hoggers! I would love to have an 850 right now but the price is too high for me. So I am looking for a US marketed, low shutter count, used 810. I believe the serial number on the 810's will start with 30 if it was sold in the US market. I want to be able to get Nikon service should I ever need it. Please message me if you have run across any for sale or have one yourself. Thanks so much! :)
Kim Fowler.

UPDATE: Thanks SO MUCH for those who responded and sent PM's. I have found and purchased my camera. I wanted to let any others know so I don't waste their time, as well as let anyone know who I haven't yet replied to. So great to see such a nice response. Love UHH! :)

They seem to be running around $1200 for those in very good condition, so that's what I am expecting.

I found one at Roberts Camera that had about 600 clicks on it and was the same price you are willing to pay. Check the used sites and places that offer some length for returns or repairs. I have used Roberts often and they are good at their word on returns or fixes.

Thanks Reverend! I just checked there at Roberts, but I didn't see any 810's in stock at all. :(. Was it recently when you saw it?

Yes, I did see those. I wrote to them asking for the shutter count and they wrote this back:

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not track the shutter actuations on any of the used gear that we have in stock, we do not consider it to be an accurate representation of how much the item has been used since the number cannot be reset if the shutter is replaced. However, on all our cameras we have a 14 day no-hassle return policy from the invoice date and a 6-month mechanical warranty, which can normally be extended to a full 2 years of coverage. I'm sorry that I cannot provide this information, but if there are any other questions that I could answer for you please contact us. Thanks again for your inquiry, have a wonderful day.

It took me about two months to finally find what I wanted but like you, I also could not afford the 850. There are used ones but about one grand more than I paid for the 810. Frankly the 810, other than a smaller pixel count, seems fine. I do prints up to 20x30 and they are fine.

Good to know. My two Nikons are crops and besides looking forward to better resolution, I need the ability to get closer to my subjects without a wide angle. I will keep looking. Thanks so much for your help! :)

I went from a 7200 to the 810 and simply the upgrade to full frame make probably the biggest difference. Good luck but do hit all the used sites on the BandH, Camera stores etc. You will find one.

I have a D810 for sale... and in excellent condition.
I’ll have to search for pictures and descriptions. $975. I’ll forward a bit later today.
