Trump admits to underfunding the USPS to aid him in Nov. Elections
While the existence of UH is not dependent on my membership or participation, NOTHING will drive me away faster the the injection of political opinion and rhetoric. There is an oversupply of sites, electronic and otherwise, that will welcome your political comments.

It happened late yesterday. Several sources. Trump was asked directly and admitted that he wanted to slow down the USPS to prevent more vote-by-mail in October-November.
A new Trump appointee (and big contributor) has become the head of the USPS. Overtime has been eliminated. A hiring freeze is in effect. Automated mail sorting machines are being dismantled and thrown away by the Post Office.
Everyone should be upset about this. Everyone should contact their Senators and Congressmen to complain.
When this election is over, we will have to spend a fortune to re-fund the USPS to buy new machines for every one that is being dismantled at this time! It's stupid and wasteful.

This is a totally false report. There is no evidence to support your assertians.
If Ben Franklin heard you talking derogatorily about the Postal Service, he'd set you outside in a thunderstorm with a string on a kite tied to your pecker.

The USPS debt also existed under the previous administration and congress did nothing to bailout the debt. It is all about money. When was the last time the USPS had a "no debt" balance sheet? Some of you know more than I, get the PICTURE.

The President has been clear about his intentions to suppress votes by rejecting the fairness of mail in voting.
Now he has admitted withholding money from the Postal Service to achieve that specific end.
Please, the evidence is everywhere.

Show us the video of this admission, otherwise as far as I am concerned this is nothing more than Demonic fake news propaganda.
Front page of the NY Times. Or turn on your TV this morning and watch most national news shows.
The USPS belongs to all of us. It is a right, assured by the Constitution. And we have other posts in this section, where they belong, about the USPS service slowing down. - Now we know some of the how and why.

I have an RV site and one of the rules is no politics and no religion. We have about 2000 members and they all know if politics or religion is brought up they are gone!
I am quite political but I will not mix politics with things I enjoy. Just by what has been posted already I have already decided who I might like and who I might not. I like it better when I only judge you by the photographic knowledge that you shared.
we always have had mail in votes. just apply for an absenctee ballot. You apply, verify signature and mail it in. You can't have boxes of ballots delivered to apartments for wide spread fraud. saw a guyon TV who got 2 ballots and didn't live there for 20 years.
no reason to notice to present ID to vote. Need ID to fly and go into buildings like courts.
As I have said many times before, the USPS is the largest money hole in the US. It needs to be closed, sold or jus plain trashed!

Again, totally false on the second assertion. As for the first assertion, anyone with any sense can see the massive open door for fraud in using USPS for mail in voting.

Funding of the USPS, how the USPS operates, etc. are not this subject. If the USPS is part of the USA's government, it should be managed and budgeted to fund the level of service that serves the citizenry. Dismantling the USPS will impact the majority of American citizens now or in the future.
Yes, I do get medicine by mail. And packages, etc. (And I use the USPS daily in my business.)
