Very nice, jederick. I think a few bucks at Home Depot would make that liveable again. Then again, maybe not.

There would be a considerable amount of sweat equity involved with that proposition, Bob...and, not at my age!!

Love old cabins and barns, they seem to stand forever.
They have a charm that makes them impossible for me to pass up!!
Nice capture! A little roof repair and some windows . . . .
Beautiful shot, jederick. Don't know how you find these gems.
Looks like a cosmetic fixer to me lol

Thank you Scruples and I appreciate your suggestions. The cabins roof line is sagging drawing the walls in so I don't think a tilt shift lens would help in this situation. Also, I don't have one and probably never will own one as at this stage in my life (78) I'm going lighter with camera gear. I know B&W is favored by many for these old structures but, I'm just not into it. I do try it sometimes and I can never get it to look right to me. Anyhow, the old story about blondes and redheads...
Thank you Scruples and I appreciate your suggestio... (

I understand your reluctance with a tilt shift. Even though it’s not as cumbersome or heavy as some think. They are rentable for a few days or even a week. But if I’m in your neck of the woods, I can let you borrow mine. The mechanism is very interesting none the less.
When using a Monochrome, be sure to use gray cards. They can make a shadowed area have depth.
If my suggestions are not up to par or are offensive, please accept my apology for my critiques.

Thank you, John...it does take a lot of pedal to the metal scouting these sites out, it is a lot of fun!!
No harm, no foul, Scruples...I do appreciate your input and suggestions so please keep them coming. It is just that being as old as I am, I'm kinda set in my ways and just march to that music.

Judging by what is said, I think I’m older. If not we can always trade our Monopods for canes. Oh darn! Where did I leave that contraption again? LOL!
I'm from Iowa. We have a similar ole place near me. I once used it to take my grandson
S Senior picture. Also my took my granddaughters pic there several years ago. Made for a nice setting.
