That should be able to outrun category 5 hurricanes!!
I don't think you'll need luck, but a low interest mortgage might help!

Yup! 0% for a year is the way to go! You'll love the new PC. I'm having one built too!

I've been using credit, I hope wisely, for over 40 years. I've never incurred an interest charge.

SSD drives are no longer the fastest drives.
For speed use a M.2 nvme drive.
New motherboards should have a M.2 socket for t he drive!

I need a new computer...(I did a search in here.) With technology changing so much, does anyone have any advice that is new? 16 gigs ram and 2 T. Is that adequate? Maybe something better.
Thanks...Marsha
Windows and Desktop.

I'm an Apple guy and do want to convert you...but I will restrain myself.

Some may have said this, but get as much RAM as you can reasonably afford. SSDs as storage are fast and reliable, but expensive. I'd make sure to subscribe to an offsite backup service in case your drive(s) fail. BackBlaze is very reliable and very reasonably priced ($5/month).

Johnny:
Before you order, check the specs of Windows 10 Home against Windows 10 Pro. You probably don't need Pro for post processing photos.

You don't need pro for photo processing or anything else video and so forth. But Whats going on right now is when you have a computer put together there now putting in pro does eom Windows because it is safer then 10. They put their time and money into pro and it now has a safer system, even has a built-in virus protection and it has a remote desktop built-in so you can connect to it from somewhere else no big deal. So no you don't need it but if it's free what the heck it is safer. I just had my machine put together and they put pro on it and when I got home it found 32 pups on my computer that my other malware didn't find.

But yes bottom line is each person needs to do their own comparison look at them side-by-side then make up your own mind.
